Welcome to our all new Camper Hire Section,

Our long term plan here at Van Wonders is to offer our customers the full package when it comes to their VW vans, so in addition to our usual services we have decided an obvious step forward for us was Camper Hire.

If you don't yet have a van of your own and want to give it a go without delving in head first, or yours just isn't quite up to camping standards yet, this is the camping experience for you.

We are using the T4 vans to keep hire costs down but keeping the comfort and reliability of the newer vans. We only have one van for hire at the moment, but it is a well spec'd Autosleeper converted van with room to sleep 4.

Terms and Conditions

* 'Weekend Hire' Period is from 2pm Friday to 10am Monday

* 'Monday to Friday' Hire is from 2pm Monday to 10am Friday

* 'Full Week Hire' period is from 2pm Fri to 10am the following Friday

After confirming your booking we will then request a deposit to secure the booking, Usually a minimum of £70 or 25% of the total hire whichever is greater. If the booking is less than 4 weeks from departure, the full balance will be payable. The final balance will then need to be settled 4 weeks before departure. If for any reason you need to cancel you must give us a minimum of 6 weeks notice to receive your deposit back otherwise the security deposit is non refundable.

Our Hire rates are for the van only, there is an additional £10 per day charge for insurance if arranged through us, alternatively you can arrange your own insurance that must be fully comprehensive to cover our vehicle and in the hirers name.

Our insurance covers the following:

One named driver aged 25 - 70 years who has held a full UK driving licence for at least 3 years.
Standard UK Vehicle Insurance
UK Breakdown Assistance
Unlimited Mileage.

Additional drivers can be added to your hire for an additional fee, please ask for a quote at the time of booking.

The driver(s) will need their full driver's license with them, If it is photo card license you must bring along the paper part too. The main driver is also required to bring along two other forms of ID such as:

A Passport, a utility bil or credit card/bank statement that is less than 8 weeks old showing your name and address (can not be a Mobile phone bill).

You will also need to bring along the refundable security deposit of £500, either in the form of cash or credit card authorisation. The only times the deposit will not be rueturned is when damage has been is caused to the van/interior during your hire period. The Insurance will cover you in the event of a reported accident / collision.
